In the Bible we are told to take care of the environment. It is our catholic duty to be good stewards of God’s gifts. “The ecological crisis, a common responsibility, peace with God the creator, peace with all of creation" by Pope John- Paul II. This quote compiles the general belief of the Catholic Church. We all share the responsibility of keeping the environment safe and the world clean because everything on the earth is created by God. As fellow creations of God we have to take care of the environment that He put here for us to enjoy and protect. There are five main principles that we are to go by in order maintain a clean earth. If we follow these principles we will soon live in a spotless world.
.A God-centered view of the world which recognizes human accountability for the fate of the Earth
.A respect for life that extends to creation
.A worldview that recognizes interdependence and prompts the common good
.Don’t be wasteful
.Economic progress that recognizes the limits of material growth.
